The whole “gender is in your head” thing is very belittling to trans people. Cis people can accept that because they don’t have to work for their gender (as I’ve said before, cis people have their gender handed to them on a silver platter). My gender is more than just my how I feel in my head, my gender is part of who I am. My gender interacts with people as much as I myself interact with people.
And on a side note, sex is not your biological gender. Sex and gender have nothing to do with each other, that’s bogus.
